Welcome...
Hello Odyssey Elementary Parents,
We are so excited to be starting the 2008-2009 school year. It is our pleasure to work for our students, teachers, staff and especially parents of Odyssey Elementary School again this year.
We are partners with the teachers and staff. It is our goal to support them in all aspects of our children's education. We help provide additional resources and activities that might not otherwise be available to make our children's education a fulfilling and memorable experience.
Beyond the boundaries of the school itself, we are committed to making our PTA's voice heard countywide, statewide and nationally. We want to ensure that teachers and parents always have access to what they need to provide our children with the best education possible. Through National PTA, we work to ensure that our local, state and federal legislators do what is necessary to guarantee the well being of all children.
To achieve these goals, we want to make sure we stay in touch with our membership - YOU! It is our hope that you will visit this web site regularly, join our mail list, read our monthly newsletter and attend our meetings whenever possible.
Our meetings are usually the second Tuesday of the month. That is our PTA General Meeting day. Our first meeting of this school year is going to be August 14th at 6:30 PM in the Odyssey Elementary Cafeteria. Childcare is available FREE! We will generally do not hold meetings in October (due to Fall Break), December (due to Winter Break) and March (due to CSAP)
We would like to invite you to join PTA for the 2008 - 2009 school year. You can join right here on the website or forms are available in the office. Your input is vital to making the PTA a success. Please remember, we are here for YOU! Please share your thoughts, concerns and ideas with us. It is the only way we can learn and grow together!
